The Six Sigma Green Belt training and certification is based on the Six Sigma philosophy. The six-sigma philosophy focuses on establishing tremendously high objectives, amassing data, and analyzing the results closely in order to reduce flaws in products and services. The rationale behind this philosophy is this: if one can measure the number of defects present in a process, one can find ways to methodically remove such defects to achieve a process that is almost perfect. The essential objective of this course is to train individuals on the requirements of the Six Sigma methodology and examination. The course will go through the DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, and Control).
